It's been another generally typical mid-western winter here in Iowa. With the calendar proceeding further and further past the New Year, there is no doubt that things will be warming up. I often get the chance to compare and joke about the weather patterns here compared to Santa Monica as I communicate back and forth with my employer. All in good fun, I am still looking forward to moving to California shortly after graduation. It will be a welcome change to undoubtedly bring new opportunities to the table.

I must admit that I do enjoy a taste of winter from time to time and the snow is a nice ambiance addition around

Last year really opened my eyes for how quickly college has gone for me. Realizing I graduate in just one short semester, my future plans search has begun. While I regret waiting so long to post again, at least I can offer a direct follow up to my last post's content. The summer of 2009 turned out just as well as the summer before. I enjoyed staying in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for what could very well be my last summer at home, unless I move back later on. At the moment, I am enjoying contracting with a brand new company, who I have been working for since May of 2009. The rest of my semester will hopefully be filled with as much work as I can find time for.

Around the end of

Last summer, I traveled to Southern California and worked for a great web development firm, or advertising agency. The experience has become a chance to explore a little more of the world and I truly learned a great deal. At first, I had unwavering plans for another trip and had contemplated the east coast or possibly Alaska. However, as I look forward and realize I have just one more year of college, I determined that then, I may be leaving Iowa for the long term. So, I am reconsidering my trip plans.
